Yesterday's high temp was 20 degrees F. Today will be the same. UGH! High Temps should be in the low 40's.
BUT the forecast for this weekend looks better, more spring-like. The weatherman is predicting 52 degrees for next Wednesday!! I can't wait. Walking inside holds little appeal for me and my waist line proves it. I need to step it up so that when I can get outside I can push harder, faster.
I had plans to stitch last night but those got waylaid ... by bill paying. UGH! While I'm more than thankful we can meet our obligations, I always want to be able to stash away more into savings. Or into discretionary spending. For fabric and quilting supplies.
In the meantime, I have been gathering inspirations on HST based quilts and found these.
For the life of me, I can't remember where. I'd love to give credit to the right person(s) and if I rediscover where I found them, I'll do just that. But aren't they stunning - totally my colors!! And I love the movement!
Obviously, my blue and cream HST would give a totally different effect but maybe sometime in the future these colors will need to be HST in one of my quilts.
The picture is from Jenny Bowker's web page about her class "Shimmering Triangles". You can see it here:

She also has written a pattern for it, which you can buy on Craftsy here:

I did a whole week workshop with her a couple of years ago, which was a fantastic experience.
